1. 100% On-Device Processing
Lokka is built from the ground up with absolute privacy as its core principle. All machine learning models—including visual embeddings (CLIP), OCR handwriting and text scanning, facial recognition and people grouping, and the interactive AI chat assistant—run entirely locally on your Apple device using the Apple Neural Engine.
2. Zero Cloud Storage or Transmission
We do not transmit, upload, or store your photos, videos, facial recognition clusters, or search queries to any external servers, third-party clouds, or data centers. Your media library and generated metadata never leave your iPhone.
3. Apple Photo Library Access
Lokka requests standard iOS PhotoKit permission solely to read, organize, and index your Apple Photo Library locally on your device. We do not copy your photos to external servers or collect any personal information about the contents of your library.
4. Analytics and Tracking
Lokka does not include third-party advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or intrusive analytics identifiers. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements to our app or changes in regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
